Can't execute any apps or games, E drive empty?

Hi,

I've been using my xbox for a couple of months without any problem. Now, yesterday i can't seem to open any games or applications! I checekd the drives and noticed that the E-drive was empty... I then tried to ftp a backup onto it, but i couldn't make folders or transfer files?
What happens when i try to open a game is that it says loading for a while and then jumps back to the dashboard,, plz help!
