or you could use shrinks start/stop frame funtionm to rip section you want from movie, then either put each part on dvd with shrink reauthor, or encode short sections to mpeg and put on cd

yep well the thing is, that none of these programs will show up the divx ripped files so I can encode the to AVI or mpeg2,.do I need to rip with another prog like SmartRipper or something like that, cause dvddecrypter is not letting it happen

This might be what your looking for. Although if you have them ripped to your comp, and have dvd burner, and a bit of time, shrink might be way to go

Open shrink, open file, browse to movie, open, select start and end frame, save,
Repeat for each segment you want
once youv done that, open shrink again and reauthor, and use dvd browser to any movie parts in which ever order you want and back up, then burn

What ripping mode are you using? if you are ripping to IFO mode then the files won't be read by many applications. Try ripping in file mode and your file will be recognized. DVD2One can make an IFO mode file DVD compliant for burning. You can use Shrink to rip, re-author, and then compress and ready to burn. DVD Shrink interfaces with Nero to start the burning process automatically. If you don't ahve Nero then use DVD Decrypter to burn. Below are a couple of guides that might help.
