dvd ripping audio file too big...please help

when i rip a dvd with smart ripper and then flask it the file is huge. i checked on it and it is the audio file that is too big. i am using flask .0594. i think it is the ripping part that is causing the audio file to be too big. i am using the RadiumMP3 codec but it still is too big. how can i fix this????
