audio burning problem

iv'e used nero 5.9 for along time without problems.but recently,when i try to burn to audio,it says burn succesful,but when i try to play it back,it wont play on my computer,or even the cd plaayer in my stereo or car.i think it burns,because it shows up media players,but it just wont play.i get no error messages from nero or any of my 3 media players.data burns fine,only burning to audio causes this problem.can anyone help?thanks
