All of the brands Ive read about in the article (except apple,which ironically usually delivers) are good at dates and promises but when it comes to actualy launch schedule and details..in one word- balls

The lesson?

Unless a company has a vested interest in trying to push a mobile OS that they own, they just weigh the facts and features...and then they end up with Android!

Yeah...but android is free to everyone; HP could already have an android tablet in stores by now, setting Android device sales records...but that just wouldn't be HP; instead they spent a fortune on buying a dead company (Palm), and now they feel obligated to spend another fortune on trying to make a PalmOS-based tablet that will be a huge failure...now that is the HP I know.
