Motorola and Verizon will soon unveil a new tablet with a FiOS digital pay-TV service included, trying a new method to differentiate itself from the growing number of tablets expected to hit shelves this year. Apple needs every hit they can get. Damn they really do have good products, but Steve Jobbs and other senior executives seem like simply a bunch of twats.

FiOS? So, you have to plug it into fios while you are at home? Or is it web-based so you can watch mobile?

If it is the first, it sounds like a pain in the butt, as generally, you have a much larger screen already connected to FiOS TV (assuming you have FiOS; they won't bring it to most communities).

If it is the second, then it is rather pointless, as verizon's 3G network is not very fast (faster than most 3G, but still very slow).
