ripping just video off of DVD

I am trying to just rip the video portion off of a DVD and I would like to put WAV files in place of the audio and burn it onto a DVD-R. Can anyone help me?

Maybe someone knows a better way, but the way I've always done it:

When you encode the ripped files, just un-tick the audio option so that you end up with a silent video.

Get yourself a programme like Ulead Video Studio, or Pinnacle. Open your file and you can add any wav file you like.
