3D this, 3D that...
3D is cool for watching films but everything is going into 3D and it's just doing pretty bad IMO.
I mean, almost all the films are now in 3D, and most of them just fail at 3D. The film's basically in 2D but stands out a little.
It was successful for Avatar and now everyone's trying to use 3D and.. Just no...

I sure hope that they crank up the CPU power...current phones have enough trouble with full-res 2D videos.

Yeah and nobody else has Avatar's $500 million effects budget either, that's the prime reason why everything else looks so bad (as well as it often being a post-production process).
3D for a mobile phone?!
Bha ha ha ha.
Good luck with that (especially with the premium they're bound to think it deserves).
Hopefully this 3D crap dies a death (again) soon.
Every 10yrs or so the industry keep trying to tell us how amazing it is this time (and tbh the effect often is better than before, just like Avatar was better than any stereoscopic film done before).
The thing they refuse to accept is that in 99 times out of 100 3D is utterly irrelevant to good story telling & can itself be a major distraction.

Well, pushing the buttons in 3D to dial is pretty cool, but that won't work though... Unless the phone has a motion sensor like the Xbox Kinect. Then you ask yourself, what's the point, lol.
