Hi, Ive searched the site as I was sure this would have been asked before but to no avail, so here goes. I wish to rip certain sections of audio (speech and music) from various dvd's which I then want to download onto my mobile phone to use as ringtones etc. (you can buy these, called 'realtones' at £4 a time!) If anyone has any idea how to do this I would be grateful for their assistance. (please bear in mind that I am no genius and any instructions or advice needs to follow a very basic, 'breath in, breath out' type thread.
I have nero 6 and a flashed 107, my phone is a sharp gx30 that would appear to be compatible with the following audio formats, SMAF, Melody editor, MIDI, i melody, WAVE, AMR, MP3.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful.

Hey, xilisoft has a DVD audio ripper which can do it for you. The software rips audio tracks from DVDs and saves as Mp3 or Wav. You also can only rip a segment by specifying the beginning and ending points. I guess you only need tens of seconds. See http://www.xilisoft.com
