I just got my fliptop from modkits, installed it. Right from the start it was making very loud noises and I went to put in an original of Hitman contracts and it wont play, it seems like the laser is going to far up the cd and starts hitting it. If you can understand what I wrote, let me know.

Well, after some tinkering I figured out that it is a messed up fliptop. First I took off the white piece from the original ps2 top and placed it on the disk with the flip top open. It booted up with no noise, so theres that problem. I then figurd out that the laser is hitting on the piece that hangs down off the flip top where the hinge is. I need to figure out how to fix that one:)

Mine had the same problem when I got it. I just manually put the white disc on when I need to do a swap.
