I think nokia has always been a solid business phone.

They do make good phones...they don't do anything else well, but the actual phone part of the phone tends to be very well made. I have to say, the idea of a truly open source mobile OS is like a sensual massage for my eardrums.

Nokia has the most phones currently in circulation, and blackberry has the most "smartphones" currently in circulation (they count all of them...even the old ones with B&W screens).

Yes, android & iPhone sales are quickly eating up smartphone market share...but no one has come along with anything so popular to dominate new sales in the "phone only" segment...so Nokia still does well.
