article published on 16 September, 2010

According to the latest comScore figures, Google slightly lost some share in the search engine market for August, with Yahoo and Bing picking up the slack. Why does it seem Google more often get me the results i want, and bunk (oops bing) i always feel after the results returned, "Did I misspell something?", and asking "What good are these results, why didn't i just go to Google first?"

Even worse as a developer/IT professional, I often need to search for something related to a Microsoft product, searching on Microsoft's own sites, be it msdn, or other pages in the developer forums, teh "bunk powered" search engine can't even find Microsoft's own stuff, same search in Google, more ofter the link needed is within the top 5,if not 1 or 2.

GO GO GOOOOOOGLE :)

You probably search a lot. I am sure this survey is on how many persons use what. I bet if they counted hits Google would lose the rest in the dust. I don't know anyone that searches often using anything but Google. Those others are out of convenience. Web designing revolves around Google there must be a reason for that. No one is fearful that they might lose Bing points.
