hi guys here is what i need to know . i have the paid version of dr divx and i have dvd shrink. now i have dvd decrypter, which i have never used. ok this has been my steps in the past . i use dvd shrink with no compression and take the vob and use dr divx.
i was told it would be better to use dvd decrytper as they are not compressed files at all well i used dvd decryptor and man it turned out to be over 8gb on the xmen movie and i did not see a wya to make it smaller which in my point of view would be compression. but, when i wnet to divx anyway to try it man there were so many files and divx just sat there saying opening files. ok here are my questions hopw do you know which files in there are not needed and whaich that you need ? there were alot of vob files. and also is it wrong to use dvd shrink with no compression then divx? and my last question on this subject, here at the tuts i saw where it said look at the files size and in there example there's was like 4.36 gb what did i do wrong ? i saet it to read.
ty all in advance

That sounds about right. Decrypter simply removes CSS and region coding and nothing more so a large disc like Xmen will be the same size as it was before Decrypter did it's thing.

Depends on what you want. If you want the entire disc with movie/extras you'll need them all. If you just want the main title then set Decrypter to rip "movie only".

If you're referring to the Guide here for Decrypter, the guide uses a DVD-5 disc purely for example. You can rip any film with Decrypter but the file sizes will correspond with the size of the original disc.

I've no experience with Divx so I'm afraid I can't help you much there.
