Anybody try the new dual layer DVD+Rs? Are they any good? Do the ripping and burning softwares support them? Are they worth the difference in cost from single layer?

Not quite sure what you mean? Are you referring to Dual Layered media and if so, where have you seen them available?

I have the Sony Burner. It did not come with any DVD+R Double Layer discs. Sony tells me Verbatim is the only company that has DVD+R DL media. Verbatim shows a picture of the DVD+R DL discs on their website but there is no link to retailers that have these babies available. I have not been able to locate any so far. Go figure. Difficult to answer your question at this point, Pariah...
