According to a new DigiTimes report, the Canonical distribution of Ubuntu Light will begin shipping with new Dell netbooks within the month. Dell's optimized netbook running Ubuntu 10.10 is said to be able to boot in 7 seconds flat. Looking good, I need to read up a little more on this "ubuntu light" maybe I can get it to work on my old netbook.

I'm glad that linux is making a strive in making market share, but also at the same time hoping that Ubuntu wasn't the choice of pick.
