When I burn a copy of dvd its takes me around 15 to 20 minutes for the whole process even if i have a fast machine.

Is there anyway I can reduce the time??, do i need to do do any setup changes to my OS?

I burn all my dvd's at 2x, and it takes me 25-28 minutes to burn (according to Nero's total time).

I'm fine with 4X but I've already had an issue with 8X burns on a certain player. I usually get so involved with picking my nose while waiting I never notice the difference in time between 4X and 8X :)

I like burning at 2.4x, using Verbatim. Burns turn out good, plus the disks are reliable and still affordable.
