dvd2avi prog cant see my wav file?

i am following the guidelines from this site on how to rip a dvd and turn it into an avi/vcd etc etc

I am ok with Smartripper, but i am having problems with the proggy DVD2avi. When i save the project after selecting the recommended audio options, i cant see a wav file.

I need this wav file in order to continue to use tmpgen!!!

any suggestions out there? Am i doing something wrong, or are some dvds difficult to rip???

ican see 3 AC3 files, but this is no good when tmpgen asks me to find the audio source as it doesnt recognise them.


I found out what AC3 files are, great.

But i'm stumped as to how to get that wav file i need?????????

help me pls sum1

in DVD2AVI, under audio, output, select decode to wav.

ac3 is the audio file, you can convert that too, using an app, headac3he, besweet and anything else that does it.

Decoding to .wav directly from DVD2AVI is REALLY SLOWWWWWW. Better to use Ac3Tool or something to convert the .AC3 to .wav, much quicker.
