I'm trying to back up a my copy of Silent Mobius. The DVD is too large to back up normally, no matter what I pull from it, so I need to split it into two DVDs. That would not be a problem except for the fact that Silent Mobius is in episode sets and each episode set has its own set of VOBs (ex -- Episode 1's chapters are all VTS_06_X, Episode 2's chapters are all VTS_07_x, etc.). I tried just to distribute the sets evenly amongst two dvds and edit the IFOs of both to reflect the new number of VOBs, but that didn't work. The DVD I burned this way won't even play the first episode in my computer! It will play the five opening credit movies, however.

Ok, now down to the basic question -- Is there a way I can either cram this all on one DVD (best case scenario that is most likely not going to happen) or how the heck do I split these episodes up so that they'll play? I know the basics of DVD burning but I have never encountered this problem before this DVD, and I'm sure I'll encounter it again.
