Quote: It could also be that Warner just leaked the clip themselves to add to the hype
Just got a funny feeling. What if most movie torrents are uploaded by people like this, and then when it comes to IP Address collection time, they starting suing, making more money for the movie. Wouldn't be surprised, just a (conspiracy) theory though. And by the way conspiracy contains the word Piracy. :D

Please explain to me how you can use the internet with a direct connection to the source and not have your IP address shown or even visible.
HTTP, FTP, TORRENT, P2P, NEWSGROUPS all connect to some sort of IP. Honestly the only way to not show it is to go to a Lan party or raid a mates HD.
As for the 36 minute leak it was warner, honestly. it is a screener apparently from warner and they are doing market research to see how much attention it get's so they can go out to the strip club to celebrate annoying all them fans out there with a 36 minute clip.
I bet you they been smoking something and thought it would be funny :P

What part of blatantly to everyone was in any way confusing?
Of course when you directly connect to any source your IP is visible but none so widely as when torrenting..

When I'm downloading, only server I'm using knows my IP and even HE doesn't know what exactly it is that I'm dowloading.... I feel fairly covered. I wouldn't torrent again if my life depended on it.
Oh, Im sorry... Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?
