hi, i'm new in this dvd burning so i want to ask if someone (1) know why i can't burn 4.7 gb in empty new dvd-r 4.7 gb size only i can burn 4.38 gb?.

(2) what software can creat a movie menu so i can chose my subtitle from menu.(software other than TMPGEnc DVD Author because it's not support subtitle menu)

(1) Something similar to the gigabyte argument used my marketing people for ages. DVD discs are 4.38GB.

(2) DVDLab i think lets you do that.
