A buddy of mine just purchased the Harman kardon DVD22 dvd player. When he plays any copied dvd's the parental control option comes on and requires him to enter a password. We've turned the damn thing off and it still does it. Anybody have any suggestions? I assume the player can't read what rating the dvd is so therefore defaults to forcing you to enter a parental control password. This doesn't happen on my Pioneer when I play the same discs nor does it happen with retail copies of the dvd's.
