ViewSonic has begun shipping their G tablet this week, making it available at retailers like Office Depot.
The price for the tablet is $400, $100 under the price of the cheapest Apple iPad, which offers 16GB of storage and Wi-Fi support.
ViewSonic's G has a 10-inch display with 1024x600 resolution, and runs on a powerful 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC.

Woohoo, it's a 10" capacitive screen... The capacitive screen on the galaxy is really nice, much better than the resistive screen on some of the lower priced tablets... to find out this has a capacitive as well is quite exciting...
Quick question, does anyone know if the calendar app that is included on the galaxy is avil for this as well? it really is much nicer than the standard android 2.1 calendar.... it's not the standard 2.2 calendar is it?
might not be as much advertised as the Blackberry, the iPad or the Flyer but if you get your hands on it you will find out it isn't much different from those popular branded tablets. It is a very functional and reliable gadget that will perform almost the same tasks and you will pay less for it.
