oversized x-vid movie !?!?!?!?

hi

i downloaded a x-vid movie and it said it was 700.00mb. when it had finished downloading it said it was 717.00mb and when i tried to burn it to a cd it ssaid the file is too big.

can anybody plz tell me how to put this file on a cd (without cutting it in half)
