Hopefully this is a correct forum :)

How do I put permanent subtitles with *.sub-file to .avi-file? I'm converting file to .mpg afterwards to burn SVCD.
With Subtitle Workshop it does not seem to be possible to join sub- and avi-file.

Try VirtualDub-Mpeg2(you have to download also the subtitler.vdf file as a plugin).
