Yesterday, we reported that Apple had pulled the popular VLC media player application from the iOS App Store, following an argument over the GPL with VLC developer Rémi Denis-Courmont. Denis-Courmont had filed a lawsuit against Apple in late 2010. This is douche-bag-ery.

Before VLC was introduced on the App store, the developers already new the score. They read the Terms of Service, or should have, and agreed to them.

I like VLC, but I do not like strong arm tactics. Therefore I clam VLC developers are being douche-bags over VLC on iOS.

I continue to like VLC on Mac OS and Windows OS.
