Penthouse creates first 3D porn channel

The new channel will feature adult programming natively shot in HD and 3D.

Gross; who would want someone's nether regions to "pop out" at them?
HD is fine, I guess, but I honestly don't get the point of 3D porn (or 3D anything, for that matter).

1. See full 1080p for the first time at home (in the living room).

My man! My sense of humour too :-) And totally agree, its what an awful lot of peeps do - check out how good the ol pron looks on the spanking new HD TV. And in private, most blokes admit they'd *like* to see what pron looks like in HD :-)
On a more serious note, its the porn industry who has been driving a lot of the tech industry for the last decade and a half. Some examples: Cisco are very coy about who their biggest customer was in the period 1997-1999. They'll readily talk about GX and Worldcom, but not whom the /biggest/ customer was. Just like we knew who our largest hosting customers were :-) Likewise, it was the adult industry that invested in HD - and had far more HD content available sooner. And again, look at the nextgen HD (4k+), a lot of early adopters are... you got it. So it was only (thankfully!) natural that they would look at 3D.. and thats a good things, because they tend to listen to their customers, and deliver what is wanted. So this is a GOOD thing. And if it picks up any mainstream coverage at all, thats even better. Because, well, every bloke might think "yeah, footie in 3D... is it really worth the extra." But you can the idea of 3D porn will always be their head when browsing Currys or being waylaid by Sky 3D droids in the shopping center :-)

LOL! I am speaking from personal experience..!
And Most people I know won't watch porn on any kind of TV altogether! they will watch it on their PC when no ones around!!

yeah most people i know now have a media pc connected to their TV/ps3/xbox/wii that has a browser and can playback recorded media, i mean who do you know what has no media center and no HD TV thats like 1990's man.
Personally i think by the the fact the pay for view chanels are still going that must mean someones still watching them.
Agreeably its fair to says porn is what the internet is used for mostly, however i think that when related to age it might not apply to all age ranges.
Also and i not saying anything mate, but its far far more fun to do when someones around ;) Speaking from personal experience.
