MySpace dumps half its staff

article published on 11 January, 2011

Social entertainment website MySpace.com is dropping almost half of its staff in an ongoing transformation of its services. stupid myspace trying to be like facebook adding that chat to see who online.... very annoying on myspace... the only thing I like about myspace is that you can change the layout for the site and facebook can't do that... I closed my myspace account though because all friends are on facebook and they still have myspace but don't updat their stuff on it anymore... just one of my friend mostly use myspace and not facebook.

I always thought MySpace was a, "Gold Diggers," at any cost website while FaceBook was always a family oriented site. MySpace may work well for the 15 - 30 group if it's repopulated with a broader cross section of that age group. I'm slightly older than 35 and most of my friends won't admit to holding MySpace accounts. I agree with, "zaznboitx," and will add that presently, the custom layouts are MySpace's best attribute; I won't miss the site otherwise.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. MySpace was/is a child predator haven.

My message to all the losers whom engage in MySpace use, STOP BEING LOSERS!

Facebook users aren't far behind in the "loser" category.

Same here. Almost everyone that uses Facebook is desperate for attention. They are just asking to have their ID/Pictures stolen. Also what the hell is up with people constantly updating their ?status?; ?So and so is: At the mall?. Are you just asking to get raped?? ?This person has 700+ friends count, by raising their ?friend count? they actually think they?re raising their self esteem, which all Facebook users have too much of already. And how many of those people are they ACTUALLY friends with.

It's not "Social" at ALL. Social is going out and actually talking to the person face to face. Not looking (stocking) what other people have written on other people's pages, and constantly taking hundreds of pictures of themselves for everyone to see. Mindless self-loving twats.
