After spending months atop the App Store top downloads list, Rovio's blockbuster smash hit 'Angry Birds' has been dethroned, by a physics game created by a 14-year-old.
'Bubble Ball,' created by middle schooler Robert Nay, is described in the iOS App Store (and now the Androif Market) as a "fun, new physics game."
In under a month, the game has seen over 2 million downloads in the ... [ read the full article ]

It would be really great if they added physics to angry birds...I am getting tired of failing levels because I knocked down a platform and the guy on top of it just keeps floating in mid air instead of falling to his death.
i have never seen that and i work on a walkthrough site for the game. strange send me the details i will have my team look into the bug

Congrats to the kid he will make a good living from making apps but this is not good news for Angry birds. but there has been several app's that have taken over angrybirds but nothing has lasted this long and AB has all ways made it's way back to first spot. Just give it time

Also just checking the game is a free app, simple game. Use the Objects to move the ball to the finish line. There is some physics to the game which is nice and made a few levels to get ya thinking.
Overall nice app, but 4 levels and i was done but i am sure this is not the last we have heard from this developer.
among further news Fire the rope is in 1st place which is a paid app top 25 while this app is under free to download which is a different list of ranking so i don't find some the facts in this article true honestly.

It only happens in the "Danger Above" levels...if you carefully knock something down (so that no part of it moves the green enemy guy as it falls), the enemy can stay stuck in mid air, without a balloon. I also noticed that it happens to my birds sometimes...if you shoot a yellow bird and do the turbo speed or whatever it is called, and then you hit a joint between two wood beams, the beams will shatter, leaving nothing below the bird...yet the bird will not fall. I had this happen to me about 5 times in a row until I finally decided to do that level the wrong way (using 1 more bird, but still getting 3 stars). Also, sometimes beams will stay in relation to eachother even as they crash to the ground. I had a concrete beam hanging from the edge of a wood beam and blocking my shot today...it should have fallen...but it wouldn't come off the wood beam until I wasted a bird hitting it. Then there is that level with the three birds in wooden baskets below balloons...they didn't even attempt physics on that level.
This sounds like a serious bug well i have someone in the top 400 in the world that is helping me with the site so i will get him to attack it as he loves finding bugs and i will have a chat with my contact at Rovio see if we can not get this fixed for the next update coming out soon. Thanks for the tip, i shall look into this.
