Can I play NTSC backup on PAL?

Hi, I am using Swap Magic 3 and I would like to know if I can play NTSC backups on my PAL PS2.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

if your tv supports the NTSC tv signal then you should have no problems using swapmagic with your NTSC import.if your tv dosn't support NTSC then you will have to patch your game with an NTSC to PAL patch
