Ok i have a fliptop and swap magic cd the braker pro disk (which these two disks boot fine) i also have the swap magic dvd disk but the problem is the swap magic dvd disk wont read in my ps2 my question is there any way i can boot my dvd r games without having to buy the swap magic disks again? Thanks

ive read some things about a high toc game to load it
are any of these high toc? splinter cell smackdown shut your mouth resident evil code veronica

smcd will boot dvd backups using a high toc disk such as devil may cry or vice city, but if the game also needs cdloader I don't think it will work.

you could try the mem card exploit cogswap loader, it will load anything.

yes but i have a v9 i dont think it works on v7 - 10 only on 1 - 6

ok, have you tried cleaning your laser lense?, I have trouble getting my ps2 to read smdvd sometimes and cleaning the lense often works. also you could try cleaning the smdvd disk using some car cutting paste (metalic paint paste, it's less abrasive) working out from the centre of the disk, it will remove heavier scratches but leave fine scratches on the disk, but the ps2 will still read the disk

no the disk is in 2 bad of shape for that ive tryed cleaning it already and i just made it worse thanks for your help tho

Why don't you just use the swap magic cd and cdloader? This procedure should get your dvd backups working:
1. Boot swap magic cd
2. swap the swap magic cd with the cdloader using the fliptop and press x
3. Once the cdloader has loaded press eject and insert a high toc original such as Devil May Cry. Press eject to close.
4. Once the screen says "PS2 DVD" in the lower left hand corner press x.
5. When the screen says "insert a dvdr by ea method" swap the high toc original with your dvd-r backup by using the fliptop and press x.
6. Your dvd-r backup will now load!

I dont have a high toc ps2 game the only games i have are resident evil code veronica smackdown shut your mouth nba shootout 2002 and splinter cell i might try to find a cheap copy of devil may cry do you know any other games w/ a high toc ?

The original of the backup you are trying to play will work as a high toc original because it has the same toc as the backup.

Okay i tryed playing a backup of splinter cell using the splinter cell disk as the high toc but when i eject it say put in higher toc i put it in and it just spins i also tryed it with cdloader and with cdloader it says invalid disk i also tryed the same thing w/ smackdown it does the same thing and theres hardly no scratches on it
