I couldn't find enough specifics searching through the forums. I have an SVCD that is in PAL, and I need to either: 1, convert it into an NTSC SVCD, or 2, make an NTSC Divx file out of it. Can anyone give me any insights on how to do this? I appreciate it.

I don't mean to be posting in my own thread but I couldn't find the edit option (If there is one. But I wouldn't be surpised if I just missed it entirely). Anywho, I think the problem may be with the file; it says the video file itself is an MPEG, but it locks up Media Player and aviCODEC as well. Is that normal? Probably not, but I'd still like to know about how to make the conversion

at the end of your post ( to the far right ) there is a pen and pad.If you click that on you will then be able to edit your posts.

As to your other problem you could try cucusofts avi to vcd/dvd/svcd located below.It also converts PAL and NTSC formats and is relatively easy to use.Works with xvid divx avi files
