Well first, If you get an error message and burn anyhow, a non-playing disc can be expected.

There are many different ways to burn a disc with Nero, but about the only time you have access to the individual video files is when you are using Burning ROM and copying the files to your compilation. Make sure you get all the files over into the compilation window.

Try this instead of dragging them over:

Right click on the files and a menu appears. From the menu select "Select All". Right click them again and now select "Copy to compilation". All your files will jump into the compilation window.

All the files started out DVD-Video compliant, otherwise Shrink would not have processed them. Shrink should have left you with all the .bups, .ifos and .vobs in a folder on your hard drive.
