hi all, when i connect my xbox to my pc with a crossover cable my xbox says its ip is 0.0.0.0 on the evo-x main screen. When i try and connect to xbconnect it doesnt find my xbox cus my ip is 0.0.0.0 so i put the xbox ip to static and 192.168.0.200. this doesnt work either. I have even changes hdd on my xbox and have had a new hdd in my pc anyway. Could someone tell me what i must do as i need to play on xbconnect. Thanx

I use FlashFXP. Set your Evox IP address (assuming that you aren't using a boot disk) to whatever (mine is 192.168.0.3), and set the GATEWAY IP to the IP address that your PC is. after saving that, connect PC and XBOX with a System Link cord, or Ethernet CROSSOVER Cable, MUST be a crossover cable. then restart the xbox and fire up FlashFXP. This is for use if you have Cable internet. If you have a different situation, describe it.
