Microsoft heeft gisteren bekend gemaakt dat de recent vrijgegeven Internet Explorer 9 RC meer dan 2 miljoen keer is gedownload.
De RC is beschikbaar gesteld op 10 februari.

Well first, its still years ahead in design of Mozilla, FF, Google Chrome, and so on. No other browser has been able to keep up with the functionality that IE has brought to the internet since IE8 released last year. However I tried IE9 RC and found it still wanting. It has some small issues with allowing valid pop-ups, which for all those Facebook users out there will be a real problem. But unlike prior IE versions, this one isn't as adapt yet to allowing the user full control to utilize more efficient anti-virus and firewall systems like AVG or other notable systems that are available to use. In the end I removed IE9 RC and went back to using IE8. On the plus side, the few bugs that had developed in IE8 since the last major update were resolved from my brief use of IE9 RC.
