while playing my vcds i have noticed that their is some kind of movement in the background that i can only describe as ghosts is their any way of reducing them.
Thanks doggy connection on tv ,One more question, when watching a vcd on tv,and the picture is up close on a person, place or thing, the picture quality is excellent, but as the camera draws away from the person i start to get small blocks of boxes (pixels i think)if i could solve this i would have the perfect vcd.hope you can help thanks.
1. Try to use good cd-r media. Most cd-rs are relitively cheap these days but b'ware of those that are too cheap!!
2. Never burn a vcd (or audio cd) faster than 4x. The slower the burn the higher the end quality will be!
3. Try alternative software! Most people use nero but you can also try cdrwin 5 + or Easy Cd Creator. Each have their own burning methods so one may be better for your stand-alone player!
you read my mind ,discs are not 2 cheap, but here's the question ,when burning(nero)to disc i test and burn at 4x,i burn the first disc and its perfect,i burn the second disc the same way. i play it in the dvd player and yes it says disc error now not to be beaten i burn it again at 8x and you know what it worked !!!!
what's happening Dela.
The only guess I could make is that your blank cd-r wasn't multispeed compatible. You'll often get cds that could say 8x and thats all they'll work with!
still can't see it,if the first disc burns at 4x and playes then the second disc should also play, its the same disc and burned the same way at 4x.
Will try and burn at 2x see does that make a diff.
thanks Dela
