I have a JVC XV-S302 and an LG DT-585NP.
They're both region 2 players and I was wondering if it's possible to change them to accept region 1 DVDs, using either a hack or a special DVD?

Can anyone confirm that the below hack ( http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=LG+DT-585 )
won't damage my player.

Edit: Thank you. I got the LG on region 0 now. Any ideas about the JVC?

if its not here it cant be done
p.s they dont damage your players they are just factory unlock codes as long as dont change anything other than macrovision or region codes you will be ok.
