Yesterday, Verizon publicly stated that sales of the Motorola Xoom tablet are very strong, but at least one analyst disagrees.
Trip Chowdhry of Global Equities Research says today that sales are in fact, "very weak," and short battery life and "poor software quality" are killing the tablet.

my dunut is running fine and it cost 100.00 new and yeah out of the box it worked just fine and I haven't looked back now that the zoom is out more will fallow and less the cost of the ipads and the contracts with verizon so lets agree to dis -agree that some of our toys a re just kewl.. and others make us pay just to use them sorry apple dudes and gales but being teathered to a bunch of fruits isnt kewl or the same as buy it and download what you want free to do what you want ... how about a tablet that is your phone and cam and starts your car and turns up the heat before you get home on a cold day .(oh yeah it has to walk my dog to).. peace all and play nice we all love our toys thats why we buy them

Why would anyone with just a teeny tiny half a brain pay 700 for a Xoom tablet when so many others are cheaper??
What exactly does a Xoom have that other don't?

I'd bet that 90% of Xoom owners could care less about the hardware itself and only bought because it's "only on Verizon".
THis of course is another example of Verizon's shady and deceitful practices. They say one thing when it's really another. Their arrogance won't allow them to criticize themselves EVER EVER.
