I have looked through the guides and searched the forums...even tried some things based off what I found, BUT still no luck.

I used smartripper to rip my dvd's to .VOB files. I want to edit the files in ULEAD Video Studio 7 and then burn my compilations to a new DVD. If I rename the .vob files to .mpg windows mediaplayer will play them just fine, however ULEAD will only work with the video and it loses the sound. How can I import the .VOBS so that I can edit them and then burn to DVD WITHOUT losing any quality. I dont want to create VCD or SVCD, I want full DVD quality all the way.

avisynth frameserver. i'm not sure if it works with ulead, but there is a MakeAVI to wrap it into AVI.

or virtualdubmod frameserver mode (select direct stream copy) also unsure if it works with ulead

AVISYNTH isn't working with ULEAD. Where do I get MAKEAVI from? Will it convert the VOB files into MPEG-2 AVI files?
