Imax signs new deal with Russia's Cinema Park

Imax has announced they have sold eight theaters to Russian exhibitor Cinema Park. In July 2010, the company sold 10 theaters to the Russian company. Cinema Park will build the Imax theatres in multiplexes in Kaliningrad, Ulyanovsk, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Tula, Penza, Stavropol and Irkutsk starting in 2012.
