Following Viacom's suit over their live TV streaming iPad app, Time Warner Cable has counter-sued the content giant and the issue appears headed to court. Actually, that isn't true...they have fought hard and long to restrict the ability to use PCs to watch their content, and have taken many steps to force people to rent cable boxes rather than using the built-in Digital HD tuners that most customers have inside their TVs. The very fact that this is available as an iPad app but not as a PC app should be proof enough that they are limiting to certain devices.
