Bing moves above 30 percent search engine share

According to Experian Hitwise, Bing has cracked 30 percent search engine market share for the first time ever, chipping away slightly at Google's large lead.
For March, Bing (which also includes Yahoo's numbers) took 30.01 percent share, while Google feel to 64.42 percent.

I think the only probable reason why bing gains share is because they make it predefined in browsers, same as iexplorer, which comes preinstalled in computers and now if you are using windows update, i noticed that they download the new explorer with windows update too, so why wouldn't they gain share?

Bing is predefined in IE just as Google is predefined on the android web browser and the Iphone web browser. What's wrong with updating explorer? Not sure what your point is there. I don't think Bing is all that bad, and I think its a good thing its taking market share. Competition is never bad for the consumer. I still find myself using Google every now and then out of habit, between the both of them I always find what I'm looking for.

Ie comes preset to bing.

I changed my search to bing, then back to google and it took me less than 60 seconds on IE. I can see how it could be "hard"' for some; it is quite technical changing search providers. I must be an advanced user to be able to change the search as easily as I did...

FUD Alert! FUD Alert! The business about IE downloading with windows update contributing to bing search or IE usage is just false, period. Yes, IE9 is being pushed by Windows update! However, it is not an auto-update. If you want to use the IE9 update, you must first install it. Hence, those installing IE9 is doing so by choice, and intend to use it! Otherwise, they would not install it, period!

The point is that they are bragging that they are gaining share, yet they are not making it an option but pre-installing it, which bumps the numbers even if people don't use it ever. I know that other browsers come with other search engines pre-installed, yet this article is talking about bing, if it was about other browsers or search engines i would make the exact same comment about them.
The only reason I came back to this thread by the way is because i opened an image just now and it opened in internet explorer 9, which i never chose to download from the update program, i even went as far as hiding that update, so how it got there is a good question. and i know that it could be some type of mistake or whatever, yet it proves my point at some level.
So yeah, i have a problem when it comes to bumping numbers however ambiguous they might make it, and it comes to everything, from search engines to devices. Like when they say that they deliver millions of devices, yet they don't say they are talking about global numbers including but not limited to the devices which are not yet sold to the end user. They are not dumb, they know that if they don't clear that up they will mislead people, yet they purposely do it. And before you ask, of course I have no proof of that, only stipulation, one that includes them as smart people.
