I'm using TMPGEnc 2.521 and DVD2AVI 1.77.3
I have been using them together, without a problem, for a month now. But today, for some reason, TMPGEnc is refusing to load d2v files. The error message says "can not open, or unsupported".
I tried loading the old dv2 files I created weeks ago and it won't load them either.
I've been searching the net for hours, trying everything anyone suggested for this problem.
I've tried copying the DVD2AVI.vfp file to the TMPGEnc folder. It doesn't work.
I've tried installing the VFAPI plug-in... nothing changed.
I tried installing and using VFAPIConv but it doesn't seem to recognize the d2v files either.
I've tried changing the priority of DVD2AVI in TMPGEnc's environmental settings. That didn't help.
I don't know what else to try. It's driving me crazy. It was working fine a few days ago and now it won't work at all.
Please, someone, tell me how to fix this because using DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc together has been so quick and simple up till now... I don't want to have to waste my time trying to find other programs to use instead. :(

Ok, now, if I make a new .d2v file it'll load it. But it still won't load any of the ones I made previously. I don't understand why one d2v file will load and the others won't. I made them all with the same program.
Ugh. This means I have to re-rip all the DVD's and remake all the d2v's in order to get the mpegs I want.
ETA 2
Oh my God... it's the VOB files. I never tried loading the d2v files in TMPGEnc without the VOB files still in the same folder before. When the VOB files are still present, the .d2v files will load. But if the VOB files are deleted before the mpeg file is made in TMPGEnc then it won't load them.
