Hi there, I'm a newbie here so I'm not sure I am using the right protocol or the right forum.
My question is, I have burned L*rd of the R*ngs 1 and 3 but can't burn 2 using Nero and anyDVD.
Can some one please give me a clue what I am doing wrong or the correct method to burn L*rd of the R*ngs 2.
Is it because of the protection?
Thanks

Any specific reason you had to spell it with *????

I'm not aware of a particularly difficult (if any) protection scheme present on L*rd of the R*ngs 2.

Not when we don't have a clue about your problem other than "it don't work" :)
It would really help to know exactly why it isn't working - something like specific errors etc.

Ah ha!
A CRC means there reader can't read the disc. This is usually caused by a scratched/dirty disc or sometimes a new disc gets out of the factory with corrupt data on it.
Try cleaning the disc and checking for scratches and then go from there.

Use DVD Shrink. It will burn with your Nero.
And don't use Caps. If you know enough how to get on these boards, then you know that all Caps is shouting.
One other thing. Don't double-post.

All caps gets your ass banned -- not helped. Perhaps you would do well to have a second look at the rules.

I have encountered the same problem on certain movies too. It dosen't happen often, but only with some. I had the problem backing up Batman just recently. Tried it on a mates pc with no problems at all. Tried many different solutions and programs to rectify the problem to no avail.
I use Pioneer readers and writers, and I got the same error message as you. My pioneer reader just couldn't read it as my A05 writer couldn't either when I tried it in reverse. A mates Nec had no problems with it.
You'll find you'll get this from time to time, with no apparent reason. 1 in every 50 or so for me. I think I'll buy another brand dvd rom and keep it as a spare for when I next encounter this problem. In the mean time, try another movie. You'll probably breeze through it.

Jamb,
Another thing you could do, is to us Dekrypter first and download your dvd as a File not as an ISO image. Dekrypt reads some disks that shrink wont. And after having your movie in your hard drive burn it with Nero Recode 2 with deep analisys. It will take longer, but if Dekrypt reads your DVD than your set to burn. I have done this with some disks that shrynk was unable to read and the outcome was great. Do not forget to use good media when burning. It is very important.
