Sony has finally unveiled its much anticipated Honeycomb tablets today, dubbed the S1 and S2.
The S1 has a curved design which Sony says will make it much easier to carry (check first video) and the S2 is a clamshell with dual touchscreens.
At 9.4-inches, the S1 is comparable in size to the iPad 2, Xoom and Galaxy 10.1, and each device has a Tegra 2 dual-core SoC.

Unfortunately, there will still be Sony customers. A lot of people are of the mind that a major public issue forces a company to fix their methodology...this isn't the case with Sony, but people will think it is.
As for me, I would rather go without a smart phone than buy a Sony...and I wouldn't want one of their tablets if they were the best in the world (they don't seem to be). The S1 does not seem to be anything particularly special, and S2 gaming looks like it is not as good as a PSP.
The sony good PR machine is in over drive at the moment, the problem is the webs full of message board and pretty darn annoyed users... its a losing battle lol... !!!
....On second thoughts I don't mind the folding one, shame it can only do PS1 games. As can the other one. Wonder what else the incompetent reportage got wrong?
IMO. I have always thought that sony pc's were filled with too much bloatware, were prone to driver issues and their design was too focused on making them stylish looking, which is not important to me. I don't think their tv's can compete with the likes of samsung, lg or others. As bad ass as the playstation 3's capabilities are, I didn't get one b/c I couldn't afford it, the developers were shy about producing games for it at first and the majority of titles I was interested in were offered on xbox anyway; looks like I made the right decision when staying away from it. Ever since buying the playstation one and a minidiscwalkman (many many years ago) I haven't bought a single sony product. Looks like it'll stay that way for another many many years! ha. It's too bad to; I really like how the ngp is supposed to turn out and wouldn't mind having a smartphone with game controls like the xperia play.
