Hi,

The smartripper, dvd2avi and tempgenc were used to work well. Suddenly, the TempGENC gives the error "unsupported .d2v file and .wav file, when I tried to open the .d2v and .wav files. What has happened? Could someone help me?

Thanks, JK

Well, the DVD2AVI program creates 2 output files namely the .d2v file and .wav file. Then, when we open these 2 files in TEMPGenc, it first checks the field order index for the video and audio.

For storage purposes, I deleted the .vobs files. This caused a problem for TempGENC to lose all video information.

BTW, the .d2v file contains only the index to each .vob file not the video contents.

So, DO NOT DELETE THE .VOB FILE, UNTIL THE MPEG FILE IS CREATED.

Thanks to myself for finding this after a long time of experiments.

Have a good day.
