79gb on the first of 2 passes!??

Hi all, i am using nandub and sbc, all my sbc settings are correct and the bitrate is only at 780 but when i go to save by file>two passes the estimated file size is 79gb! And i only have 5gb free on the hd, it is creating a file named __temp__.avi and it has gotton to 5gb easily within the first 18 minutes of ripping the first pass. However if i load the same processing settings used on the other computer (it is a 2k pro box) onto this computer (an xp pro box) it does just fine and the first pass is no bigger then 1gb.. can anyone help me with this strange problem? Thanks in advance! :)
