Any mod that will allow NORMAL boot and play?

I was reading through the directions for the various mod chips over at mod-chip.com and was sorry to see that they all seem to require some non-obvious boot button clicks to load games/DVDs (e.g. press eject to turn on machine, then reset to turn off the machine, then reset again to turn it back on, but keep it in for 4-5 seconds...wtf?!?)

Are they all this bad?? Does any mod allow NORMAL operation of the PS2 when using backups? This is for a v1-v3 player.

Matrix Ifinity. Most chips are automatically on when you boot up the machine. Go to:
