Is anyone else having any problems loading this game? I get to picking single player and then screen goes blank. have tried using dvd loader v7-all but get a disc error. Any help in this matter would be brilliant. thanx all.

Well you do need the cd/dvdloader in order to play the game according to swap Magic fix. Do you get a disc read error when trying to load the dvdloader or do you get a disc read error when trying to boot your backup from the dvdloader? If you have a version 1-7 you could try the cdloader instead. I burned the dvdloader to a Fujifilm dvd+r using dvd decrypter and it boots fine.

thanks for writing back. my son has a ver9 ps2 and uses dvd loader v7all. so far this has worked on all games but i think i maybe using it wrongly?could you help? this is my walkthrough: use swap magic disc,swipe card,dvd loader in and press x, oncedvd loader comes up i press circle for english and use swipe card (this is were I think Im going wrong), the disk still seems to be spinning when i open trayand finally put in ps2 game and press x. all other games have worked fine using this method. can you let me know if this is correct and poss to send which dvd loader that you use. Thanks for all your help JOE

heres what your suppose to do(i havnt personally tried it) swap magic dvd->dvd loader->press x, go down to 5v3 NO PN-> press x ->press eject, put in swap magic dvd-> press x ->put in game, when told press x :)


this is pretty complicated, thats the main reason i sent my ps2 off to get modded :)

Hope it works for you. I've got a v9 PS2 and even with the dvdloader, SC:PT doesnt go past the loading process (loading the 'O' in PANDORA). I've started a thread in the dvd backups forum and a lot of other people are having similar problems. It seems to happen mostly with PS2s v9 and v10.

i hope thats only a prob with swap magic, hey sackz, did u do exactly what i told you? i meen, on the dvd loader hit x(before putting in the sm disk) and go down to 5v3 no pn, press x, then put in swap magic dvd?

the main reason i sent off my console is for that reason, i read, 'ALL GAMES BOOT WITH SINGLE SWAP' buuullllllll. alot the good games took the dvd loader where i had to do like 3/ swaps, and that annoyed me to no end
