The latest rumor in the microprocessor space has Apple moving away from Intel and instead adopting ARM architectures for its laptops. Apple will make the move when ARM releases 64-bit versions of its processors, likely at the end of 2012. Apple will make the move when ARM releases 64-bit versions of its processors, likely at the end of 212.

It should be 2012.
