Moderate screen tearing with Media Player Classic 6.4.8.2

Hi all,

By "screen tearing" I mean noticeable glitches in the playback of video, usually duing major action scenes, where there are short times where portions of different frames are displayed simultaneously, separated by a thin horizonal line.

I am using MPC 6.4.8.2, winXP, GeForce2GTS, VIA KT133A mobo.

Does anyone know about what could be causing such glitches?
